International Court of Justice landmark ruling 1975
Text of the ruling of the ICJ of October 16th 1975, which definitively established that Western Sahara was not part of Morocco, and that the Western Sahara case was a problem of decolonisation which should be resolved through the free and fair expression of the will of the inhabitants of the territory - which at that time did not include any Moroccan settlers.
